Rory McIlroy was named European Tour Golfer of the Year 2015 on December 15, 2015. He is receiving this title for the third time. He won three Championships in 2015 on European Tour and two Championships (including WGC-Cadillac Match Play Championship and Wells Fargo Championship) on PGA Tour 2015.
Before this he was also named European Tour Golfer of the Year in 2012 and 2014. He has won 12 European Tours and 11 PGA Tours till now.
